Hatton Talks Return, Including Floyd Rematch

Ricky Hatton (43-1, 31KOs) returned home to Manchester, and was flooded by UK media, and questions about his future plans for 2008. Hatton told Sky Sports News, no decision as to a comeback opponent has been made, but he won't rule anything out - including a rematch with WBC welterweight champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. [details]

I'd like to see him fight Rees as a comeback fight,if he looks the business then stay at junior welter and unify the belts then retire.
Hes had alot of hard fights and cant go on forever, I dont want to see him ending up punchy.

Pac should move up to 140 for Hatton, that fight will sell aound 1 mil PPV, no doubt about it!

There is no need for the rematch against Mayweather, I doubt anyone in America will pay for the rematch.

Floyd should come to england to Fight Ricky, he will make a lot more money. 80000 at wembley and if its on ppv at a decent time and not 4 o clock in the morning then they will do well over a million ppv's

If it don't make money then it dont make sense they said, well this fight makes more money then any other apart from oscar and he said he wants to fight over here

Wasn't the fight in UK last week? I thought it was!

But seriously, there's no need for a rematch, if the fight was closer and Hatton didn't get knocked out, then we could've had one.

He knows there's no chance of a rematch with PBF; just showing he'd be willing to step back into the ring with him because he's a warrior.

Malignaggi's an intriguing fight. What if he uses the same style that he did for 8 rounds vs. a guy that can't KO him? Is Paulie willing to war like he did vs. Cotto?

It's crazy for him to even think of fighting DLH at 150 pounds. Floyd probably won't fight him again, unless it's a lucrative deal for them to fight in Manchester or something. He should just go back down to 140 and fight Malignaggi.

Floyd said he'd love to fight in the UK and the money that could be made would be crazy. From Floyd's perspective it'd be ****** to turn down a rematch. Then again from Hatton's it would be ****** to ask for one.
