Is Bernard Hopkins a Racist???

Most people on this board have been fight fans longer than you and understand the dynamics of what bernard is doing better than you, thus, this is why nobody is really going crazy over whats happening, i know you wanted to just get people to agree with you in this thread, but alot of us have been around the sport and bernard for a very long time, we know better.

Bull****, I have been a boxing fan for a long time and I know a racist when I see one, Hopkins is a racist. Don't bring up that Puerto Rican bull****, that was a nationalistic beef, not a racial beef, Hopkins and Trinidad are both black. Hopkins made an inappropriate racist comment towards Calzaghe, he exposed himself as a racist, that's the bottom line.

I think Hopkins is clearly a racist, his racist comment towards Calzaghe was inappropriate and uncalled for. If Calzaghe made a racist comment like that about Hopkins he would instantly be villafied by the media and Al Sharpton would show up at Calzaghe's doorstep demanding a public apology.

i wouldnt expect most black guys to condemn bernards comments. but they are wrong, just like its wrong when my best friend gets called a n igger when we go out in a primarily hick college town almost every ****ing night. bernard might not be a racist, but he is a horrible person for saying that. you might think im lying to try to make a point, but that **** kills my friend every time he hears it and you should be ashamed by condoning racist remarks when i know first hand how black people handle racial slurs. and by the way what a ****** ****ing post. joe calls bernard a monkey or even a black boy and all hell breaks lose so stfu

When Hopkins made the comment I'm pretty sure it came on the heels of that run-in with Calzaghe. He meant it. He was worked up. Bernard looked genuinely hurt when he was being booed and jeered..

Hopkins is a vicious racist! I was shocked by his hatred.
