the difference is, i was going for odds and putting down actual money, not sitting on this board talking **** about how bad cotto is, i think hes an excellent fighter, but if i see a weakness that an underdog can capitolize on, im taking the odds.

If you believe the hype over Mayweather's win over Hatton then you are a sucker. Any of the top welter's would of blown Hatton away. He was almost KO'd by Collazo for christ sake. Cotto has all the tools to beat Mayweather, including a powerful jab and excellent timing. People always underestimate his speed and boxing skills. If he would have a rematch with Mosley, he would beat him down more convincingly.

Here's what I don't understand. Why are we making Cotto out to be so great a boxer. We have all seen him get hurt against Judah and Mosely and those were his biggest fights. He should re-match Mosely in Vegas IMO and put an end to all the controversy around that win.
Should Floyd really fight him? We all know why Cotto is saying what he's saying now. Because that's what made Floyd fight Hatton.

Crillz, Homie I respect you as a poster but I must disagree with on this here. I think Floyd will pull a UD. We will see Floyd as a different fighter(inside and outside). Cotto WILL MAKE FLOYD FIGHT. No doubt about it.

Cotto is the a come foward fighter and likes to apply pressure. Floyd will have a field day with him. Some people say Cotto is a body puncher, but the only problem with that is he is open for the uppercut. Both Judah and Mosley found their home on Cotto's chin by throwing that uppercut. Also Cotto will have to move around because Floyd will not sit there like Mosley and Judah. He will outbox and circle around Cotto all night(just my opinion)

Lets not forget Floyd is a good body puncher himself. (very underrated body puncher) He is going to wear down Cotto. So I just cant see Cotto winning this. I forgot to mention he will not be hitting Floyd that easy because he does have defense.(better that Mosley and Judah.)
