Speaking with BoxingScene.com's Bill Emes, Cotto says he is tired of hearing excuses on why Mayweather won't take the fight. [details]
This is clearly Bob Arum talking, and Floyd has never done anything close to ducking Cotto, everyone knew he was taking a long break after the Hatton fight and Cotto/Arum are trying to take advantage of that.

If I were Floyd, I would tell Cotto I would take the fight, but only if he drops Arum as a promoter.

      So true.
And it just happens to be at the time where Floyd is taking a year plus off.

I mean does anyone see floyd actually losing to CaCa in a ring?

Caca will not outbox floyd.... His only chance would be a knock out... But I doubt he could catch floyd with the way he fights.

It's not proper form to start calling out a fighter when he is considering retirment or was retired, in Hatton's case when he called out Floyd.
please, Hatton didnt call out Floyd he made a comment..Cotto has now made a few , NOT ONLT THAT HE IS THE #1 WELTER UNDER FLOYD.

          stop with excuses already GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSH

Floyd just needs to stop make'n excuses n fight Cotto!!!. He even said himself that he's got enough money, so why not give what the boxing fans want and defend his title against the best, like a true champion, and not hand picked opponents thats more sutible for him.

floyd mayweather is a coward. he will never fight a true welterweight fight. miguel cotto is to scary for him. i think only a hispanic fighter can bring the pressure and power to knock mayweather out and i think he knows this to.
