No Way Calzaghe Beats Toney & RJ

Joe Cal is a good fighter but Toney & Jones are great fighters. In their prime Cal beats neither. But as someone said if Toney wasn't focused he good be outworked but I doubt it.

I still cant believe that some think Calzaghe is the best SMW ever. Watching the old RJ & Toney fight, I think they both kill him

Calzaghe is the best SMW of all time based on what he has accomplished thats a no-brainer. But does he beat Toney, Jones in there prime ?? hell no.

reid was a good fighter, he just wasn't too bright. the eubank that TKO'd nigel benn could beat calzaghe. even kessler could have put up a better fight than he did, who won round 12? it wasn't calzaghe, kessler could ahve come abck earlier and made that fight close. the james toney that ****ed up iran barkley could beat calzaghe, and prime roy would knock joe out - he'd have to, anyways, or get robbed like reid did . calzaghe isn't the kind of fighter to give these guys problems, he stands right in front of u and doesn't use the jab

Toney got clowned by Nunn for most of their fight when Nunn adopted a fairly similar game to Calzaghe's. The only difference is Cal wouldn't gas out.

He wasnt getting clowned, more like out punched. Toney was landing the harder punches all fight. He was wearing Nunn down, and the fight was going his way from round 8 on. Nunn was just keeping an incredibly high pace, not to mention Toney rolled with a lot of punches too.

But for some reason it's become this thing where people say Toney was getting shut out until a lucky left hook. Not the case at all...
