After he got up, Floyd landed two flush left hooks right behind the ear.

The right hand barely landed.

Yeah those two left hooks finished him.

But the check hook played the same role Pavlik's straight right did against taylor. It didn't finish him, but left him to be finished.

The "check hook" was the beginning of the end and that's all that matters. Hatton was out of his feet after that and his legs were completely gone. "Technically" it was not the knock out punch but it was the most important punch in reference to ending the fight.

I disagree.. I believe Floyds work in the 8th is what really was the most important point.. that's when I knew I Hatton wasn't going to see the 12th round..

My god, this has to be the most nonsensical post in the most worthless thread on this forum. Anyone who believes that that left hook wasn't what ultimately and directly lead to Hatton's demise, I'd honestly consider them to be an idiot, or just someone who didn't watch the fight and is talking out of their arse. LMAO @ the 8th round ending the fight 2 rounds later.
