And your signature mate....you've gotta be kidding right?
I think he's serious .. Which is the scary part

considering cotto, mosley, williams, marg, cintron are out there still... he has a lot more to do at 147.

he cant say they aint ppv material when hatton wasn't either. if ali didnt fight foreman and frazier all his career and only fought contenders to good champs, without fighting great champs then he wouldnt be the man he is.

All he has to do is unify, which right now means Williams, Cotto and Cintron. However, if any of the three get together, say Williams vs. Cintron, that winner and Cotto would do, which means two more fights.

Although he can skip it all and just challenge Wlad. If he wins, I will put him as the greatest P4P Champion ever.

Floyd's already 30. Seems to be economical with his punches either because of the weight increase, lack of will to take risk (which he didn't care about before) or because of his brittle hands...unless it is a mix of all.

Either way, I don't want to see him get old and he should retire soon. That two year layoff crap is a terrible idea and I hope he is just talking cunny to get more money.

he's only 30, he's got a hell of a lot more fights to go. williams, cotto, mosely, cintron, margarito, clear out the welterweight and unify, then he will be in my all time top 5 for sure. i hope he does, and as soon as he keeps his mouth shut he'll be a lot more respected in the game. that thug **** ain't him, and that just makes him look ****** cause everyone knows that's not him.

I'm going to do a round by round analysis with justification once the fight comes up on youtube. Ring generalship matters too, Hatton brought the fight to Mayweather and landed way more big shots than Oscar but Oscar still got one of the judge's decisions. Lederman also scored it similarly. But this is not the thread to discuss it.

I agree. If he plays the nice guy (or his true self), he goes down as the Ali of our generation in terms of character and admiration.

What's the difference, Hatton was knocked out. Floyd has been given up the early rounds now for a couple of years, which is another reason why I don't think he is 100% the same fighter, unless of course you are giving him credit for fighting smart. I still would rather him be moving around like he used to do at Lightweight. That Chico fight is still one of the best fights I've seen him put it all together with jabbing, moving in and out, throwing the combinations, head movement, etc. He was a Wizard that night. Somebody already pointed out before that with his hands he cannot punch the same amount like he used to. Hatton pointed to his weight. I am unsure.

I'm starting to think of him as Floyd Jones Jr.

There's no difference, its just how I scored it, Hatton lost and was beaten by the better fighter on the night, as shown by the L1 on his record.

What was Friendly Floyd making at Lightweight, 3 million a fight? around that maybe. Now he is Money May, making 30 million.

But I do agree, he can probably stop it now and change it up like Foreman did. He may have to anyway if he wants to get into promotion and other ventures. I hear he is teaming up with Mark Cuban for something...that will be interesting.
