Not to downplay there enthusiasim but I dont think the guys there were really boxing fans, more of Ricky Hatton fans and fans of a Big Event. I doubt there generals boxing knowledge expands beyond Hatton and Calz. I doubt the majority of them could name 2-3 other WW contenders. There enthusiastic yeah, and loyal yeah but thats more based on there soccer culture than them being true boxing fans IMO.

I believe as a rule Mexican and Puerto Rican fans are better boxing fans and more knowledge on the whole about boxing since its a more intrigal part of there culture. The only thing is we lack the synchronized chants but make just as much noise and bring just as much enthusiasim to the fights.

Whether they are knowledgeable or not, it sure is good for boxing to have an atmosphere like that.

I think superfights like this are going to happen more often now as boxing competes against UFC and other MMA sports.

Would be good to see the American audiences support their fighters like the Brits did in Vegas.

Support your country, Vote Ron Paul.

Oh, to stay on topic, British fans are great.

I've heard nothing but good things about him (other than the fact that you support him ).

I don't think he has the name recognition (or the correct party affiliation) to win this upcoming election.

Thats because the media is scared to death of him. He has a great shot at winning if the people open their eyes. As it is now, the only way to learn about him is the internet and he STILL has strong support. Party affiliation...a problem for sure but the two-party system is the only way to go unless you have star power or lots of money.

Paul is not the man for the job. Mitt, Fred, John would be better.

none of them support the rule of law, the Constitution. All of them want a national ID card.

I just think the **********s have infuriated everyone too much for the last 8 years to really give themselves a fair shot at winning in 2008.

You got a good site for Paul, one that gives his beliefs and stuff without all the bull****?

They really need to get a neutral site that gives positions of all the candidates (or maybe there is one, and I'm just ******ed and don't know about it).

absolutely. You are right about people hating the **********s, but you have a guy in Ron Paul who voted AGAINST the war and actively campaigned against it. You have a bunch of elitists in lock-step with the Neo-con **********s running on the ********ic side.

                    From his site: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/

2 minute overview of the issues, very good:

I was a real knee-jerk conservative before I heard about Ron Paul although I always knew the war was bs. I have changed to an almost total Ronbot now haha.
