Anyway the numbers don't add up. 900,000 PPV buys at 15 pounds a go equals around $30 million US in total revenues. Ricky's guarantee was $10 million. He may end up making another ten mil on top of that. $40 mil is way out of line.

This isnt credible at all (The sun) they like to exaggerate everything. we are a country of 60million people, The number of people who has SKY subscription isnt more than 5 million people, The number of people who are willing to pay 15 pounds wouldnt be more than 500,000 people the most...We are just not a PPV country...Only Naz and lewis was able to get people to buy the PPV in those days.

I believe the number of PPV buys, the hype for the fight was incredible, and just about everyone I know bought the fight. Including my dad, he set his alarm!

What is exaggerated is the $40 million number, there's no way Hatton makes that much.

fighters deserve the money but they usually get used and abused.
