    Hatton-Mayweather a Worldwide Blockbuster!

In the UK the fight shattered PPV records. It did 900,000 buys beating the previous record of 750,000 buys set by Tyson and Lewis in 02. Ricky will earn 40 million bucks because of this!

In the US the fight is expected to be the fifth most popular PPV ever coming in at 1.5 million buys!

Over 50 million people watched it in China!

Over 34% of the entire population of the Philippines watched it!

A lot of that information has to be incorrect.

If they did 1.5 million PPV buys in the US it would be the record, not close to it.

Also most of China could not even get the fight. I have friends who live in a very wealthy part of Beijing and they couldn't get it at all.

We need to wait for Golden Boy to confirm the numbers first.

None of those sources are credible. The sun is an online gossip paper for idiots. Their top story today is about someones Hamster being murdered for gods sake.

De La Hoya v Mayweather did 2.14 million buys and Tyson v Lewis did 1.9 so how would it be the record?

well maybe it was 900.000 buys in the uk and then it was 1.5mil buys in the us so if u add them up then it breaks the record i think

if hatton gets 40 mil his manager should get 35. hatton is a good fighter, nothing more, and for him to make that kind of money is almost unfathomable.
