mayweather recovered too fast, not only was he not hurt, hatton knew he wasnt hurt, rushing in is what got him knocked out anyway.

yeah there was no way he was hurt but he was falling down. Anything at that point would have put him down. Although I honestly haven't seen that again in real time, I can't bring myself to watch that fight again.

the thing is, mayweather was off balance, hatton knew his punch didint exactly connect flush thats why he kind of backed off, a guy like hatton knows when to capitolize, hes a good finisher, this wasnt one of those instances.

keep in mind, ive seen the fight about 5 times since saturday (official nuthugging admission)

lol, yeah I'll take your word for it man. It's clutching at straws on my part. Anyone who knocks floyd down should etch it into their gravestone.

I agree, Khans a good fighter, really got more public into Boxing along with Hatton and Calzaghe. The last person to do it this well was Hamed, the thing about Hamed was though, he had something about him, he was ****y but he did it so you liked him, he had a really unique and attractive style and he was a bluddy good fighter.
Khan seems to average and doesnt do anything attractive, plus he hasnt got a great defence. Still, would like to see him face a decent fighter, it seems he's just being set up in gimme fights by Frank Warren who'll want to milk Khan dry before he gives him any sort of challenge incase he gets floored on his arse.

Khan the World beater: Time will tell.

This thread is a joke! Of course Khan is not ready not face the world's premier welterweight now. However, lets not forget this kid's acheivements to date.

He won Olympic silver only losing to Kindelan who would surely be a world champion was he not a Cuban. He then went on to reverse that loss with a great display in his final amateur bout. He just beat Graham Earl in a little over 60 seconds and it took the highly rated Katsidis a lot longer (not to mention the knockdown) to do the same.

Yes, he has a shoddy defence, but he has a good team around him who will iron out the creases over time. He has unquestionable speed and power which I believe he can certainly take up a weight or two as he is massive for a lightweight. This lad is going to win world titles, whether he can depose of legends like Mayweather in time is a question that I don't think anyone can answer quite yet.

The biggest bull**** spewed over the 6 days is how Mayweather is supposed to have 'proved' his greatness in the Hatton fight. Kermit Cintron would have stopped Ricky Hatton, he was garbage last week.
