Roy getting brutally knocked out, not once but twice removes him from that list for me. I mean getting knocked out by Glen Johnson? that would be like Floyd getting knocked out by someone like Clottey, just no excuse. It you could say it was at the end of his career, but hes still fighting so i think that has to exclude him. He was a great talent, but id take Floyd's accomplishments and perfect record anyday

or any of the other fighters of that era ...tszyu ..
he fought an over the hill de la hoya

(most de lay hoya's fights with his golden boys
are just boxing exhibitions ...)Comment

Come on now, he fought John Ruiz, probably one of the weakest champions ever, I give more credit to James Toney for moving up and fighting real heavy weights even though he didnt win a belt, than Roy beating a "champion". Roy only went down so he wouldnt have to fight a real heavy and still got knocked out. Dont ever compare John Ruiz to Bernard Hopkins, get real. Floyd has won belts in five divisions and is still undefeated, is that not stepping up?Comment
