If Hopkins Beats Calzaghe How Much Credit Will He Get?

What will it do for Nard's legacy and how will the fans view of him?

Not much. Calzaghe has always been wide open for the lead right hand and that's Hopkins's best punch

Plus, Calzaghe hasn't fought anybody worth noting since Woodhall - seven ****ing years ago

He should get all the credit in the world for it, especially since right now everybody is talking a hell of a lot of trash : Both about Hopkins' being a "washed up" fighter and Calzaghe being the #2 p4p fighter in the world. (By the way, who the **** did he beat that puts him above Pacquiao?)

What he will get is probably very little. Calzaghe will either become an instant "bum who never beat anybody" overnight. Or people will start with the "I still think Calzaghe won" bull****. Oh, or "Calzaghe had to move up in weight and wasn't used to it" garbage.

But if Calzaghe beats Bernard, he'll be labelled an "All Time Great' over-****ing-night. Because Hopkins is a legend, and he'd be the only one great opponet on Calzaghe's record.

I don't think anybody will question who he just beat if Hopkins beats him. I think this is the only forum that underrates Joe like this. If Hopkins beats him, which I can't see at all, it will be by far the biggest win of his career and will catipult him.

It won't happen, Calzaghe has a great defense and a great offense. Hopkins isn't the only good counter puncher, calzaghe is a great counter puncher. Kessler is no bum, if hopkins wants to think kesslers a bum, then let him. Calzaghe will just whoop that ass even harder
