But you could argue that the fight was fairly even going into round 6. When Ricky got the point disqualified, the momentum of the fight changed and he abandoned the gameplan and started fighting desperate. That's what the man says himself.

A rematch may give him the opportunity to execute the gameplan he wanted. But then Floyd would have the last fight to go on and could probabaly do the same number again.

Also I believe in ya get knocked down you best get up again!

mor fights at 147 will be with bigger and stronger guys than mayweather. 147 is just not the right place for him. some claim that hatton is broader than mayweather etc but infact hatton looked the same. he was shorter, similar build and shoter arms too. lighter in weight so how can he deal with cotto etc?

at 140 cotto etc would never make weight that easily but hatton can. that shows you that hatton is more comfortable at 140 since most of the fighters are his size or smaller. i mean at 135 there are taller guys than hatton.

fair do's hatton done well to beat collazo and gave mayweather a good fight when maybe 3 months ago everyone doubted huim. yeah he got ktfo but i think its time to leave the mayweather past and move onto witter, malligani, tores.

i think hatton is a type of guy who gets up when put down. naz had an ego and that killed him when he lost. hatton has too much heart to give up i tell you.

I disagree about the rematch. Alot of brits had is close through 6 and say that the point deduction changed the fight. I dont buy that at all. If you watch the fight then you could easily see that it was like alot of Floyd's fights. The opponent is solid through 6 and then they wear down because Floyd's defense saps your energy. You can say that Hatton changed after that but that has nothing to do with him getting tired and you cant deny that he did. After that Floyd started picking him apart. Plus you know most people feel like a rematch is always worst for the loser and they end up losing much easier this time around. At 140 I still think Floyd wears him down and takes over in the 2nd half of the fight.

Most of all I dont think there should be a rematch because I didnt like the way Hatton fought. Ive said since the fight that the ref or Floyd's so called illegal moves wouldnt have mattered at all if Hatton would fight like everyone else fights. The reason why all the other stuff mattered is because Hatton wrestles and you guys know it. To me thats not real boxing. Look at guys like Cotto, Chico, Margarito, & Castillo. All those guys are pressure fighters but give themselves enough room to throw. Fans love watching them because they never hold or clinch. They want to go toe to toe but Hatton wants to go chest to chest. Its ugly to watch. He's right on you and I mean "right on you". Why cant he fight the same exact way but give some space? If he does that then Cortez is a non factor. Hatton wrestles and he shouldnt have to do that if he is as skilled as others say he is. I mean look at the Tsyzu fight. He tries to rag you up and I dont mean with his fist. Thats the same way he fought Floyd. Chico fought Castillo toe to toe and they never clinched once hardly. Hatton does it all the time and in this fight it hurt him because he not only smothered Floyd but he smothered his own shots
