Mayweather Vs Hatton "A Britsih Fans View"

First of all I give props to Mayweather he is a class act..Mayweather was and still is the better figher! It was a great fight and I enjoyed it as a Hatton fan..The shots that Mayweather closed the fight with were pure class and the fella can defs pack a punch, I also liked the way that Mayweather gave Hatton respect after the fight, A big thumbs up from me.

Now comes the quibbling...

I wasnt happy at all with Cortez! What was going on there? If you are a boxing fan where ever you are from, I would of thought that his actions are questionable!

In the secound round Mayweather ****** Hatton straight in the back of the head, You couldn't miss it, That was just about the same of what Hatton done in the sixth. Well Mayweather actually hit Ricky and Ricky missed unlucky for him I GUESS. But he took the point **** happens I guess.

I think Mayweather was more than likely to win in the fight anywayz, But Cortez spoiled the fight, He wasnt even giving time to see if they was gonna fight out of a clinch. The ref was comin way to soon if I'm being honest.

IMO The boxers done a great job that night.. But the ref was terrible, Some good has come from the fight I guess I have more respect for Mayweather, And I have actual *** all repect for Cortez that ***er should be banned from the sport.. And my personal message to Cortez "dont ever come to the U.K you aint welcome, your a fraud..And if you ever do ref a fight over here I'm gonna put one on ya, If I get the chance.

I would love Mayweather to come to the U.k for a return fight, late 08 or early 09..After Ricky takes a few more fights at 147. I dont think Mayweather would get a hard time either, IF he came over to be honest, Not from me,As the respect he gave after the fight went a long way to be honest, Maybe just maybe Mayweather might start acting like a man now instead of all the kiddy stuff!

Floyd fan here and I thought Cortez was garbage also. He acted like the fans came to see him. I dont think he shouldve takened a point away from Hatton but I think most fans are like me as in they didnt count it on there scorecard. If Floyd had won a decision by 1pt then I think most fans wouldve considered it a draw.

I thought Cortez stepped in too early but I also think people are wrong in trying to say that he did that the whole fight. He only did it for like the first 3 rounds and then he realized that the whole fight is going to be like this so I might as well let them fight out the clinch. After round 3 he hardly never broke them up unless he needed to. They did a ton of fighting in the clinch

I hear ya M8, But even one round that Cortez spoiled would be enough, So if you say he only dont it for 3 rounds which you are prob right...Then that means Cortez spoiled a quarter of the fight, Thats quite a bit dont you think?

Well this was a joke

But you could argue that the fight was fairly even going into round 6. When Ricky got the point disqualified, the momentum of the fight changed and he abandoned the gameplan and started fighting desperate. That's what the man says himself.

A rematch may give him the opportunity to execute the gameplan he wanted. But then Floyd would have the last fight to go on and could probabaly do the same number again.

No you are missing nothing m8!! I Mayweather as I said finished the fight with class, But I do fell that if Ricky stays at 147 has a busy year in 08 he might fight better in that weight and also realise that when ya leave yourself open at that weight and fight that kinda of fighter, You are tempting fate..More fights were needed at 147 I feel before taking that fight...I know this is like a swear word But under FRANK WARREN, (grrrrrr hate saying his name) He might have put him through a few more fights before taking the big one...IMO

Also I believe in ya get knocked down you best get up again!
