I wouldnt want a rematch if i knew the guy would beat me 10 out of ten times, which is the case. You havent even heard him mention it, because the skill level was not even close, and he and his handlers found that out.

When the ref let the fight go Hatton was still winning the close quarter exchanges even in R9, the HBO commentators even said it.

If thw whole fight stayed tight/close, then Hatton wins but the ref was the crucial factor with his over anxiousness.

to tell you the truth i did'nt see the ref as over anxious, ricky fell after he got up by a lil pat from mayweather, i think he was done and the ref thought so too. joe cortez is a good ref and fair. remember the ref is there to make sure no wrong doings are going on, not to give an advantage. joe should have called some of the stuff mayweather was doing, but hey, it's a champion ship fight and both fighters were doing wrong, so taking points in a fight like this sucks. i think the ref did what was right.

Cos he knows Floyd won't take it. Floyd never wanted a real fight in the first place, thats why he whinged about the Tszyu fight. Floyd's reaction at the end was relief and he said himself Hatton was the hardest he faced. With a different ref, Floyd get battered up close.

And he got signed off on a left hook , what a beat down , 1 rnd Hatton got , landed less that 1/2 the shots Floyd did , and they threw only 50 difference in total punches ,,,, man what a beat down ,, you see Hattons busted head and busted ass after fight , his head looked like the cover of MAD magazine and his ass had the canvas logo rubbed on it ,,,,, dam it was pretty , what a beat down just like the ownership of Gatti ,,, suck it up sonny boy because your becoming the village idiot of the board !

you're right about that, refs need to let fighters punch out of most holds.
