Nooooooooo. Thats where you're wrong. We never got a chance to see it in full cos of the ref, but Hatton was beating him round the place with the chance he had. Mayweather was shook and only took control in R7/8.

The ref stopped Hatton fighting. Floyd takin shots to the head all night. Unlike the de la hoya fight.

Hey Weebler... keep up the same topic, over, and over, and over...

      VIVA WEEBLER!!!

That's pretty much what you are becoming.
I think so. He clinched more in this fight that in his earlier fights, and the reason for that is because he could land his shots much easier at a distance. He knew that the only way Hatton could beat him is to get inside and start letting his hands go, so clinching was a very good tactic IMO to get Hatton off of him and keep him at a distance.

The ref made the clinching work. Slightest contact = break em up

I thought PBF was looking to fight Cotto not Hatton.

Who do you think would win between Hatton and Cotto?

Excuse my ignorance although Im a fight fan I dont think Ive ever seen Cotto fight.

I agree with you that it was a good tactic (actually I think it was the best tactic he could have possibly used), but all I'm saying is that he probably didn't have to dig real deep into his creativity to figure out that clinching was a good idea when Hatton got inside.

Mayweather was never shook IMO, he just needed time to adapt, like he always does. He always steps it up past the 6th round. Did the referee have an impact on the fight? Yes. Big time. Would it have changed the result? No. Mayweather would have still won, maybe not by KO but he still would have won.

Cotto is strong, very very strong guy. I think it goes to all out brawl in the 4th/5th with one of them getting knocked out.

Again, the ref is impt, because Cotto likes a little bit of distance (altho not as much as PBF). It woudl be much more entertaining than Cotto/Mayweather

I agree. I guess I interpreted your post wrongly earlier.

I never saw a fighter lose so bad.

. 1st Floyd went around dancing on TV while training to fight the guy (how disrespectful to see your opponent dancing on TV with pretty girls while your starving yourself)

2nd He basically lands a classic Left hook to KO Hatton

3rd Hatton starts blaming veteran referee Joe Cortez the same ref he was so happy over before the fight started.

Hatton & his fans need to stop making the loss worse for him.
