Floyd is a small welterweight who was too ***** to fight at a catch weight like Hatton wanted.

He'll take Malinaggi in NY, then Cotto at a lower weight.
And why would Cotto move down? He's very comfortable in the division. He's still undefeated. He doesn't need to drop down for anybody. He has PLENTY of lucrative options.

For money in the UK he could fight in front of 80,000. And thats in sterling (twice the dollar)

Cotto is a warrior, he will fight anyone.

He's not moving down. Don't even pretend it's happening. It's sad. Hatton can still fight Malignaggi, then Torres perhaps. Kind of clean up the JR. welterweight division. Witter can help and they can clash and the winner can go up to welterweight if they wish. That's probably it. Hatton could always fight De La Hoya. No one would hold that possible loss against him.
