I do think that Williams and Cotto would give Mayweather more problems than Hatton could. Sure many would have given Hatton a chance against Mayweather, but in reality Hatton's style was made for Mayweather. Supposed boxing experts were claiming that Hatton had to approach the Mayweather fight exactly how he did the Kostya fight, and to an extent i'd go along with that i.e. in terms of consistent pressure, but the fact of the matter is that Hatton was walking in in straight lines, & not using enough angles or enough head movement against Kostya, therefore, Mayweather was bound to capitalise. IMO questions have to be asked about Billy Graham, and this isn't a knee jerk reaction as i've said this plenty of times prior to the Mayweather fight. Okay, that may sound a bit daft considering Hatton was unbeaten up until the Mayweather fight, but i think that has a lot to do with Hatton's natural talent, as although Graham is capable of getting Hatton into fighting shape, i think he is found wanting in the tactical & technical side of the fight game. However, there is one thing i do agree with regarding Billy Graham... He believes that Hatton is a natural 140 and so do i. Although i always believed that Hatton would fight at 147 again, it was more due to necessity IMO as you simply cannot turn down a fight with Mayweather, but IMO he should go down to 140 where a fight with Junior Witter now seems a realistic target.

Margarito never hurt Williams. And he took flush shots to the head and body. Floyd doesn't have a chance. Williams would make Floyd LOOK REAL BAD, almsot amateur-ish.

Floyd can still fight for many years. If he retires now, then he will always been known as a guy that was good, but never really proved he was one of the best.

Paul Williams is the future of that division, if Floyd ducks him then thats pathetic.

naw holmes i just keep real
williams is a good fighter i actually like him and he is the FUTURE at welterweight..
im not gonna give a guy who has only had 1 welterweight championship bout the advantage or the benefit of the doubt over a guy who has beaten Hall of famers, and 20 championship fights, has 6 belts in 5 different weight classes, and is recognized as the P4P best..
the best guy on williams resume is a slightly above average fighter in margarito
