Margarito now would destroy DLH. Mayweather's defense wouldn't stop Williams from throwing so many punches, watch Sharmba grab him repeatedly, and Williams destroy him on the inside. My point isn't Sharmba is Floyd, my point is no matter the cirumstance he throws. Floyd dancing around wouldn't help him at all, his best bet would be to fight him on the inside, and he would lose there too. Tony Pep?? Is that serious?? Williams is too much for anybody at 147, including Mayweather

The battle of the elite WWs, similar to Hearns vs Leonard. I think Williams would mop the floor with Floyd, he's too big, has too much reach, throws too many punches, and has too good of a chin and stamina. I think Floyd would be lucky to win three rounds. Williams is a really good inside fighter for his size, and would dominate from the outside. On top of that his punch volume would handle Floyd's shoulder roll technique. Williams by domination.
get off williams **** until he beats cotto, if that happens then talk, until then shut the **** up.

This fight is impossible for me to call right now. I think Williams is the only guy from 147-154 who stands a good chance of beating Mayweather based on his boxing ability and that insane height/reach advantage. I would pay big, big money to see this fight

BiasedPundit I thought you were putting me on your block list?? Too bad that never happened, Williams will destroy Cotto, and unlike Mayweather has the balls to fight him. DiegoFuego knows what he's talking about

That's exactly why Floyd doesn't have to prove **** anymore. Please go back and reflect on his resume you ****** novice.

Anyways, Williams would be a tough fight, but people pointing at his height need to watch the Mayweather-Tony Pep fight, who is a half inch taller than Williams. Floyd could beat him but he'd have to move a lot, which he would so I'd pick Mayweather due to Williams' inexperience and lack of rhythm. He'll find Mayweather, but not enough.
First of all, Williams is 6'2". And comparing him to a 34 year old 6'1 1/2" 130 pounder who had lost in his only previous title shot, with 6 losses total, is not exactly fair.

No it's not, I think Mayweather is all-world, and would destroy Cotto, but the REAL 147 fight is vs Paul Williams. A guy who will fight anybody

I've always said that Paul Williams is the most likely man to beat Mayweather at 147. He has the tools to do it, whether he can use those tools to beat Mayweather, I'm not sure, but I'm picking Williams.

silencer is right..from a non biased point of view, it's easy to see why Williams would beat Mayweather

Williams doesn't have to come in swinging. He needs to straighten up his jab and keep sticking to at Mayweather, who doesn't like to jabbed at, and mix in a few punches behind the jab.
