Graham: "No More Hatton at 147-Pounds"

Billy Graham, trainer of Ricky Hatton, says his fighter is going to move back down to the junior welterweight limit of 140-pounds, and regardless of the money involved, he does not want Hatton taking fights at welterweight (147). [details]

      No Oscar!!!!

I am a fan of Oscar's but there is no way to justify him fighting Hatton period!!!! At 147, or any other weight... He is way too small and I predict Oscar would KO him by round 4.... PBF broke the kids will, the money would be great but it would be an ugly fight!!!

good news, Hatton is a man in his physical prime I agree, he just can't compete at welter, Floyd was the smallest guy and he lost decisively. He is 5'6, witht hose small arms, he is not particularly elusive either. Someone average like Margarito would smash Hatton in half based on size alone. Alot of these welters are really light middles or even middles.

all the real boxing fans knew hatton was not a true welterweight and could not handle the weight. mayweather needs to fight a true welterweight challenger such as cotto williams margarito.

There's still some good fights at 140 for him.
I think he will come back stronger when he dusts him self down, getting beat by the best boxer on the planet doesn't make you a bum.
He will be back next year

This is the correct move, I don't give Ricky much of a chance against any of the top dogs at Welter, he is just too small. I wouldn't mind seeing a fight with Torres at 140, could be a action packed scrap.

Graham is right in saying no more fights for Hatton at 147. He's too small for that weight.
