Jeff Lacy is on a downhill

He didn't look impressive at all in a fight in which I expected him to win by knock out. Freaking manfredo gave him trouble a couple of rounds landing at will.. I was very wasn't pleased with the fight at all and I doubt Lacy will become champ again, his boxing skills are too limited..

he looks pretty bad on saturday night and i dont think he's gonna do much in his "comeback". personal opinion. too bad too cuz i really like jeff lacy. calzaghe jus beat the fight out of him unfortunately. he should go up and fight tarver and maybe get a good win and see if that helps him psychologically. hope he stays around...

I liked Jeff Lacy, that's why I think he should just retire now, Joe Calzaghe ended him, and that torn shoulder didn't help much either! Lacy is finished .. I mean, if he steps in the ring with Tarver being that Lacy he was against Manfredo, he'd get killed.

He looked bad. I think it's a combination of him being shot and not being that good in the first place.

he doesnt seem to have any knock out power anymore....i think he should try n get as big a fight as possible, either tarver, rjj, kessler, somone with either belts, reputation,or big fan base, make a load of ash,win or lose..most probably lose, then get out the game,n invest in property...n look after his family financially..and be done with it.If he carries on for too long.u can see him turning into one of those boxers, who gains a lisp, and loses the ability to think on their feet....he doesnt move out the way of punhes,so he'l end up with sum serious brain damage if he hangs around too much longer, besides he's what...30 now?....get out the game Jeff!

He doesn't deserve to fight for anything to be honest, be it money, pride, anything.

He was given the chance to prove himself in front of a potentially huge audience, just before the biggest fight of the year and came out looking worse than the beginners at my boxing gym.

No motivation? No good training? No skills?????? Who knows but whatever the case is Jeff Lacy failed to show anything worth watching again against possibly one of the most mediocre opponents he has possibly ever faced.

Why would anyone want to see him fight after that?

For real. I swear there are amateur lightweights in my gym that look stronger than him that night.

i think the power still there hence the knockdown, but the ring rust has worn his timing down and calzaghe destroyed him which can't have been good for his confidence, he was scared..... calzaghe was at ringside.
