I guess you are right, the ref didnt allow Hatton to hold and hit on the inside, which is ILLEGAL, and that was a reason he wasnt able to beat Floyd.

Floyd had his elbows up, yes thats correct. Now if Ricky didnt want to get hit by elbows he shouldnt have tried bullrushing him everytime, causing the elbows to hit his face, its not like Floyd was throwing elbows.

Yet, he allowed Floy to hold and hit in the later rounds, use forearms and duck below. ALL ILLEGAL.

Ricky wasn't holding anyway, he was leaning his body in not using arms for the most part and it was Floyd who was doing it so the ref would separate them.

If I'm an idiot all these guys are too.
