even billy grahams said he smoothered his work that was'nt the referee fault Hatton wanted to get away with things & was'nt allowed to that is the top & bottom of it

Boxing is about ADAPTING to situations that is why Floyd is P4P number 1 cause he adapts
How would Hatton fight better on the inside against Mayweather by giving him MORE SPACE?

The whole point of hatton gettin so close is because Floyd needs space to hit him. Thats the whole point of smothering the other guys punches.

What if Hatton just stood in front of Floyd and tried to hit him without leaning on him to smother his punches? Want the answer to that? Watch the baldomir fight. Floyd would just counter over and over pot shotting Hatton when he felt like it.

If hatton allowed Floyd to have his space he'd just use his elbows to push Hatton off and right uppercut him all day, which is actually what started to happen when Hatton started to be less aggresive.

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE SO SHOCKED WHY HATTON FOUGHT THE WAY HE DID.
FROM BEFORE THIS FIGHT WAS BEING HYPED EVERYONE INCLUDING HATTONS CAMP, MAYWEATHERS CAMP, ALL OF YOU GUYS, ASWELL AS THE REF KNEW THAT HATTONS BIGGEST CHANCE WAS TO GET CLOSE TO FLOYD TO STOP HIM GETTING POT SHOTTED.
WE ALL KNEW THAT HATTON HAD A SLIM CHANCE OF WINNING AND IT WAS BY USING THIS STYLE.
HE WASNT ALLOWED TO DO WHAT HE NEEDED TO DO TO WIN.

So he had a crummy plan and wasn't able to adapt it on the night.

Also please tell me how Floyd adapted to Hatton in this fight? Instead of just quoting the words he used in the post fight interview.

Many of the last few fights hes had have been with people who are on top of him pressuring him.

Tell me what he did differently in this fight to what he normally does?

This is pathetic. How many times can you blame the ref? He got knocked the **** out there's no debate. Hatton is known for holding on the inside. Early on both Mayweather and Hatton held. But after a while Hatton was just coming in so that he could hold Mayweather. Look when they're on the ropes. Hatton tries to wrap one arm around Mayweather and hold on to the ropes to pin him. That's against the rules. This was a big time fight. No one wants to see all that ****ing holding. And besides that it's against the rules.

What Hatton showed me is that he cannot adapt. Floyd couldn't work his outside game with Hatton's constant pressure. SO he invited Ricky in and beat him at his own game. Rewatch the fight and look how Mayweather was beating Hatton at his own game as far as body shots.

he ****** Hatton in a straight line left space & room to slip out to left while he hit Hatton with a lefth hook as he was walking in with his chin in the air & his right hand low

you keep crying about Ricky HAtton should be allowed to fight with his style.
Answer this ONE question is HOLDING and HITTING ILLEGIAL or NOT?
Ref Cortez done what every ref should do against a fighter that wants to hold and hit. Break them up and warn them.
Why are you not compliaining the way he was breaking up Mayweather (who was doing most of the clinching) in the early rounds?

You basicially crying because you are saying the only way Hatton stood a chance was to cheat. And you should have known he was not going to be able to maul PBF with or without the ref.
Why don't you call Ricky Hatton up and beg hm to learn how to fight legally. Without having to hold and maul his opponent

Ricky was comfortable with all the inside **** close in. Floyd wasn't. The ref gave him the space. And Floyd held more, threw elbows and even feigned injury.

Hattons momentum was ruined by Cortez, he was breaking it up so quickly.
Mayweather's forearm and elbow, grinding it into Hatton's went unpunished by Cortez.

Sorry but Hatton missed with that punch:
