Floyd's face in first round and second showed he was genuinely worried. But its true what everyone says about Floyd after 4 rounds, he has you figured out and can pretty do whatever the **** he likes to you.

With Hindsight Lewis was the most spot on.....Hatton HAD to knock out Floyd in the first 4 rounds to win. Pretty unlikely, even more unlikely when the the ref kept stepping in. They could have that fight a thousand times and Floyd wins everytime, sadly.

I don't think PBF was scared or looked scared. I think it was more of look like he was thinking too fast or thinking about all different things he could do to counter Hatton's attack

People please watch the fight again objectively and you will see there was plenty of infighting and PBF broke Hatton down with clean, short , solid shots the body.

Yeah I don't think many realize that....half of the time Floyd's on the ropes or defending..he is waiting for openings, adjusting, resting and studying his opponent..

        you're given 12 rounds...well he uses them

it's hard to speculate whether he was scared or not. Anyway you should have a certain level of fear at this level for your opponent otherwise you'll lose. If Mayweather thought Hatton was a piece of crap, bum, he would have lost.

i mean this is getting ******ed anyone that box or anyone that knows anything about boxing knows cortez did a fair job. youre not allowed to put someone in a headlock and the pt he deducted watch the fight again hatton PUSHES him into the ropes and tries to club him in the back of the head. he let hatton on mayweather way more than he should have and hatton couldnt land ANYTHING. you think mayweather is getting hit w/ big shots but in reality mayweather uses everything to deflect it; shoulder, arm, placing his glove in front/side of his face, ducking to make it miss and clinching when he needs to. cmon now look at the mans face at the end of the fight...they dont call him pretty boy for nothing. hatton is a bum he got hurt by collazo in his first appearance in welter and now look got ktfo by pbf who we all know isnt the biggest puncher in welter. hatton has made his record fighting a bunch of bums OR fighters over the hill then when he goes against someone in his prime look what happens.

im tired of these hatton fan boys making excuses for their boy, watch the ****ing fight and watch how mayweather basically gives hatton the rope a dope till the later rounds. during the later rounds mayweather starts using lateral movement and whenever hatton would actually get mayweather to the ropes he wasnt even throwing punches w/ any body weight anymore their arm punches that werent even effective since he was so exhausted.

when hatton finally gets a ref that doesnt let him hug his opponent to death look what happens

Don't blame the ref. Floyd roughed Hatton up on the inside, obviously Mayweather was the bigger and stronger man. Don't get me wrong I was just as suprised as the rest of you that Floyd could man handle Ricky like that. Just think of it this way, maybe we'll get to see a Hatton vs. Witter fight! Witter has been calling him out for the longest now Hatton has no excuses.

A total of one person complained about the ref in the last two pages of this thread stop exaggerating jesus.

Mayweather did look shook up in the first few though. In reality Hatton just wasn't as strong as he thought he was and when he realised he started getting more confident dropping his hands and setting hatton up.

If there was only one person in the last two pages said something about the ref and it wasn't you means I wasn't talking to you. If you look at all the posts that have to do w/ Mayweather Hatton 75% of the Hatton fans are complaining about the ref. If I didn't quote you I wasn't talking to you, I was just speaking in general. Its funny that alot of people are complaining about the ref but what happened to the outcry of Hatton fans when their guy mauled the **** out of kosta? Again if you didn't say anything about the ref why reply to me? Are you still bitter? Don't worry Hatton wasn't bitter, he'll be back just not against the p4p king. I don't think he wants any part of that.

I will say mayweather fought a great fight (UNDERSTATEMENT) but these were just some observations.

Also it seemed ricky started getting concerned when he started getting hit with that right hand. but obviously he should be.

                      please discuss.
man i thought the same thing.. had me worried there for a second in the beggining rounds 1-3
