Tony Thompson, hahaha. see that face? its the face of death
Hes probebly a top ten heavyweight in today's rankings, and since he has no fans, I decided to become one for him.
cause I dont really think about spelling when Im on the internet since, you know, it doesnt matter at all. I promise, I can spell it right when it matters, hahaOriginally posted by skillspaythebillsHow can you call someone a genius while spelling genius incorrectly?Comment

Thank you!! Ding Ding Ding! U got it!! Couldn't have said it betterI finally figured out why hes such a **** all the time. Its not just to sell the fight like a lot of people have said, he likes to piss off the fans of the fighters hes fighting, like Gatti and Hatton. Then after both fights, he became magically a really nice guy giving redit to both. this makes all the fans try to watch his fights in the hope that he loses, and after he wins he tries to make them respect him by trying to hook them into being his fans. also, people are more likely to give someone credit for a win if they dont act like an ******* after the fight. He basically shows people two sides...an ******* and a nice guy.
Its very clever. But who the hell knows who he is in real life, with all his split personalities, haha
Other things I thought about the match last night...
-Cortez was doing a horrible job last night. He loves to become part of the fight, which is why I never liked him as a ref. Just let Steve Smoger train all refs from now on...Why cant refs tell the fighters to 'fight their way out' instead of ruining the fight by telling them 'STOP! Dont punch' or 'Clean break, no punching!'. Are you really telling the to stop fighting?
-What happened to Hatton's volume punching? He seemed to do a lot of grabbing to me, and while it worked somewhat, Floyd did basically just as well as him when they were tied up like that. It wasnt even Hatton's stamina, cause he was condtioned as could be, always bouncing around full of energy. Dont think it would have made a huge difference in the fight, but would have made it a little more exciting
-I wish refs wouldnt jump in to stop fights so early. I know Hatton's corner threw in the towel and the fight was over, but it would have been a more dramatic ending if that final right hand of Floyd's would have landed and put Hatton down, instead of Cortez jumping in to stop it and Hatton falling to the ground on his own. Still, didnt expect a clean knockout like that from Floyd at all, haha
-Lederman was HORRIBLE last night. I remember the first for rounds he went Hatton, Mayweather, Hatton. Ridiculous, I had the exact opposite, Mayweather winning 1 and 3 while Hatton won the 2nd. I thought he was scoring pretty badly for most the fight...Comment

Well, Floyd is standing in the doorway of history now. He's positioned to make a run at the GOAT if he chooses to. If he unified the welterweight belts and retired undefeated..........then we're talking about Sugar Ray Robinson. His fans have been saying this from his early days , maybe now people will appreciate him as fighter that is is an ATG , he will wait his time and fight and beat Cotto when the time is right for the highest reward , and he will put on a masterclass of boxing to get a UD from far bigger man , you wait and see , great fighters do great things !
First he's gotta beat Cotto, though.
Now Floyd's career is getting interesting.Comment

listen, I dont even try to spell correctly on the internet. wats the point?
actually the one that always screws me up is definitely. Cause i often end up putting definetly or definately or ones like that if i aint payin attention.
also another thing I dont get is why Floyd doesnt throw more punches. He seems amazingly effective when he throws combinations, but he seems to love to throw 30 punches a round.Comment
