    Mayweather is a genious

I finally figured out why hes such a **** all the time. Its not just to sell the fight like a lot of people have said, he likes to piss off the fans of the fighters hes fighting, like Gatti and Hatton. Then after both fights, he became magically a really nice guy giving redit to both. this makes all the fans try to watch his fights in the hope that he loses, and after he wins he tries to make them respect him by trying to hook them into being his fans. also, people are more likely to give someone credit for a win if they dont act like an ******* after the fight. He basically shows people two sides...an ******* and a nice guy.
Its very clever. But who the hell knows who he is in real life, with all his split personalities, haha
Other things I thought about the match last night...

-Cortez was doing a horrible job last night. He loves to become part of the fight, which is why I never liked him as a ref. Just let Steve Smoger train all refs from now on...Why cant refs tell the fighters to 'fight their way out' instead of ruining the fight by telling them 'STOP! Dont punch' or 'Clean break, no punching!'. Are you really telling the to stop fighting?
-What happened to Hatton's volume punching? He seemed to do a lot of grabbing to me, and while it worked somewhat, Floyd did basically just as well as him when they were tied up like that. It wasnt even Hatton's stamina, cause he was condtioned as could be, always bouncing around full of energy. Dont think it would have made a huge difference in the fight, but would have made it a little more exciting
-I wish refs wouldnt jump in to stop fights so early. I know Hatton's corner threw in the towel and the fight was over, but it would have been a more dramatic ending if that final right hand of Floyd's would have landed and put Hatton down, instead of Cortez jumping in to stop it and Hatton falling to the ground on his own. Still, didnt expect a clean knockout like that from Floyd at all, haha
-Lederman was HORRIBLE last night. I remember the first for rounds he went Hatton, Mayweather, Hatton. Ridiculous, I had the exact opposite, Mayweather winning 1 and 3 while Hatton won the 2nd. I thought he was scoring pretty badly for most the fight...

      Mayweather is a genious...

Floyd is one of those athletes that come around once in a hundred years.

People underestimate his smarts in and out of the ring.

Of course, no one person can reach the top on his/her own. They must be surrounded by loyal team of like-minded people.

The best money move he made was breaking free from Arum, which allowed him the freedom to breathe and spread his wings, to showcase his talent as the best in the business.

In short, let's just say that the planets and stars are all aligned in his favor as this era's p4p best.

Actually its alot simpler than that. Its only to sell fights. If Floyd could play the nice guy and sell more fights he would do it, but two nice guys dont stir controversy outside of the ring. When I used to watch wrestling there was a reason why they always pitted a bad guy against a good guy and rarely when two good guys fought, even though it was staged, its wasnt pleasant to watch. Floyd is only trying to sell fights nothing more the best way he knows how.

Lets not look to much into Mayweathers thought processes, this is not a smart guy we are talking about. lol

Its like we're talking about a dog that knows how to roll over, and calling it a genious because of that.

Mayweather is smart enough to grasp the theory that bad guys sell, and he has the stones to apply it. Thats as far as it goes

How can you call someone a genius while spelling genius incorrectly?

He might be a great Technical Fighter but no one likes him and his style sucks and will never sell tickets. Only way he sells out is when he fights countrys like oscar and mexico and hitman and england. If he fights cotto it will be big since he's the biggest puerto rico fighter. But if floyd fought mosely or Paul W. It would struggle with 400,000 buys.

Mexico HAS NOT embraced Oscar as one of their own. Your peurile hatred is ignorant. Stop the hate.

His fans have been saying this from his early days , maybe now people will appreciate him as fighter that is is an ATG , he will wait his time and fight and beat Cotto when the time is right for the highest reward , and he will put on a masterclass of boxing to get a UD from far bigger man , you wait and see , great fighters do great things !
