I say Floyd. Take into account that he knocked Hatton into another dimesion fighting backward. It takes a lot of pop to do that. He also buckled DLH and hurt Judah but he go low blowed. He's no Tyson but Floyd's punches are definitely felt when fighting him.
More Power: Mayweather or Hatton?

And I'm saying if he does have better power than Hatton it's negligable, especially at 140/147. Hatton can definitely punch as well.
If you were to ask me, who had better Power in comparison to their respective divisions, Floyd at 130 and Hatton at 140, I would pick Floyd no doubt.Comment

Floyd was pretty powerful at 140, too. He stopped or knocked down every opponent he faced at that weight class. And I'm saying if he does have better power than Hatton it's negligable, especially at 140/147. Hatton can definitely punch as well.

He hurt Ricky a lot in this , Floyd punches hard when he wants to take you out , I said he will make a statement in this fight , Floyd has brittle hands and is willing to handicap himself with bigger softer gloves to protect his hands ,, when he fights to take you out he can punch ,,, ask Ricky who happened to not put a scratch of Floyd , just nothingComment

Really , is thier a difference at the point of impact ,,, not in the case of Floyd vs Hatton ,, I dont think so ,, I think Floyd has it over Hatton , he just dont use it all the time and he uses it different ,,, he was stronger with more power than Hatton on this night and punched with so much more power than HattonComment

I don't think it was "he punched with so more power than Hatton", I think the difference was the quality of the punches between the two. Floyd got the extension and accuracy behind his punches, and Hatton didn't, mostly due to Floyd's defense.Really , is thier a difference at the point of impact ,,, not in the case of Floyd vs Hatton ,, I dont think so ,, I think Floyd has it over Hatton , he just dont use it all the time and he uses it different ,,, he was stronger with more power than Hatton on this night and punched with so much more power than HattonComment

Your assuming a maybe and ignoring an actual ,,, in this fight Floyd was the more powerful fighter and thats a fact .Comment

Floyd was the more powerful boxer in the last few rounds, that's for sure. Hatton was the more powerful in the beginning. He just gradually ran out of steam, and appeared to get desperate to land the KO. Floyd fought a great fight. Stood in and did not "run."
If that truly is Floyd's last fight, then he went out on a good note. Now that Floyd is retired, who is going to be the new face of boxing?Comment
