Hatton has good power when he's fighting another 140 pounder. @ 147 lbs his power is average. Overall I believe Hatton has the edge.
More Power: Mayweather or Hatton?

Zab Judah is a very good fighter. Much trickier to hit than Hatton. He was also a natural 140 pounder, throughout his career.Comment

I'm not delusional. I'm not going to prance around here, pretending that Floyd all of a sudden has dynamite in both fists because he knocked Hatton out (who by the way has a pretty good chin). Yet at the same time, I laughed at those who claimed Floyd was pillow fisted, and who couldn't throw a punch.
I will say this though, Floyd's power was VERY underrated on this site. Hopefully people woke up after this.Comment

Well said, I think that is the difference.I still think Ricky Hatton probably hit harder, but Floyd Mayweather is a farrrrrrrrrrrrr Better puncher. Ricky really didn't deliver on being able to find the little gaps to exploit a tight defence, he delivered no telling shot to the body at all. But I accept he hasn't fought PBF in the past. Dude is on another level to probably anyone.
edit: yuck! my grammar and spelling. Bed time for me.
Hatton may have more raw power, but Floyd channels his power better because he has excellent technique, and throws his punches with such consistancy and fluidity. His lead right hand controlled the fight last night, but it was his left hook that impressed me. He landed it a few times throughout the fight, and that "check hook" was a thing of beauty. What a punch from Floyd!Comment

I think if Zab didnt low blow Floyd there is a pretty good chance Floyd would have stopped Zab in the 11th or 12th.
The fight was certianly heading in that direction, kind of like that Hatton fight started to go in the 8th and 9th rounds.Comment

Hand problems and weight disadvantages are a reason that people were not giving him credit. And nobody said that he has incredible, crazy power.. i was just saying that he has betterpower than Hatton.I'm not delusional. not really.. Floyd wasnt turning up the heat like that.. and the 11th round was already proceeding without any major damage. To say that he might have ko'ed him in the 12th round is just a guess..Comment
