    Mayweather - Hatton, the scorecards.

At the time of the stoppage, two judges had 89-81 for Mayweather and one 82-81.

In my eyes this is a pure robbery. How can you score a boxing match in this way? I agree with Lederman's card until the 10th (I had two points for Mayweather).

    What do you think?

i thought hatton did a little better than the official judges scored, but it doesnt really matter considering hatton couldnt finish the fight.

I'm convinced all these judges look at is compubox. These scores are in line with strict compubox punch counting.

      or they were bribed

I had it 6 rounds to two with one even at the time of the stoppage. The only definitive round Ricky won was round 5 but I try to score fights as unbiased as I can so those other rounds could have gone either way.

It's a moot point in a way, but yes...those are awful scorecards. One pot shot can win a round I guess.

So, maybe the judges scorecard means the only way to beat Floyd Mayweather is to knock him out so the judges don't pull a repeat of Castillo vs Floyd.

Clean punching > Pressure (especially ineffective pressure).

Did Hatton land anything worth landing last night?

it was closer than the judges scores but don't make a difference anyway

                  from memory i scored it round 1, 4, 6, 7,8 and 9 to mayweather. hatton had 2, 3 and 5.

maybe hatton would have done better if he used his brain and adjusted. maybe cortez did make him get hot headed. who knows. if i was fighting and a point got deducted like that then yeah i would get angry but hatton is a champ and should have stayed more calm.

Hatton did land some bombs, and some of those shots looked like they landed cleanly meaning floyds chin is intact, meaning that some of the shots hatton landed didn't just get rolled off.
