At the time Hopkins beat him, yes. Tarver was fresh off of 2 back to back victories over an all time great Roy Jones Jr. One of which was a 2nd round knockout. Calzaghe only has Lacy and Kessler, Lacy has since shown how overrated he was, and Kessler was his only solid opponet.

If B-Hop beats Calzaghe he's an all time great and nobody at all would doubt that.

But that victory would mean more than the Trinidad and Tarver wins by far, simply because Tarver never was all that, I knew Hopkins would decision him, perhaps not so easily, but I knew that he'd win, wasn't a doubt in my mind, and the Trinidad victory will forever be disregarded due to obvious reasons, Trinidad was a welterweight.

Right now he'd be fighting a hungry, skillful, POTENTIAL all time great with more youth and just as much experience (this combination doesn't come together very often) I'll admit I was wide out with the Hatton prediction, and I'm pretty sure that's because I like Ricky more than I did Floyd, now I do like Zaghe more than I do Hopkins, but there is no doubt in my mind that Calzaghe will win this one decisively.

No offense but a lot of users on thie website are teenage boys new to the sport of boxing. I'll take a 50 year old judge with experience in judging fights accurately's opinion over their's any day of the week.

Not me. I've been watching fights for years and I agree with some of those '15 year old boys'. They agree by sheer idiotic chance, I agree by logic. However, I don't fully agree that Wright won anything clearly, but neither did Hopkins in my eyes.

50 year old judges often come up with scores worse than a 15 year old might be able to.
