Sugar Ray Leonard, Oscar DelaHoya and Evander Holyfield made MULTI MILLIONS ou tof being the good guy... and with Floyd's skills and interesting commentary.... he could be MUCH bigger

Tito was NOT the bad guy in AMERICA...I never heard that before. Believing Floyd HAS TO BE the bad guy to make big money isn't realistic to me.... if people were exposed to his better side he would still be big and u know why? Because CORPORATE America would embrace him, etc

As the good guy, Floyd would be popular, but not this record=breaking boxing mega-star. I have seen a ton of FMJ fights, and he is EXTEREMELY classy inside the ring.

Yeah, he's tough and dirty. All great fighters stretch the rules. All of them. Especially the Michigan guys. But FMJ has elected to create this persona, and it is making him buckets of money.

If he wasn't so hated by the Brits, would THAT many of them have flown over? The vitriol loosened their pursestrings.

Come on, be honest. De La Hoya and Hatton both manage to pull in great crowds and be exceptionally popular without relying on playing the pantomime villain. With Floyd's incredible ring-skill and his growing demonstration of being to fight however he needs to, he'd be hugely popular if he showed the nice guy side of him more often. He might not make quite as much money, but he'll still make ****loads. Certainly enough to make it worthwhile to be seen as a good guy rather than hated.

Holyfeild was the top $$$ maker of all time and Oscar has to be close by now.
Also Holyfield vs Foreman was a good money maker by two 'good guys'.
But if you look at the stats a 'good guy' vs 'bad guy' draws better most of the time {Tyson v Holy, Oscar v PB, Tyson v Lewis ....well]
Sometimes it's good sometimes it's bad but in Floyd's case he would be better off being a 'good guy.

He'd be the new Sugar Ray Leonard and much more popular than ever.
its much easier to be gracious after you win. I wonder just how gracious he'd be in losing? unfortunately,,,me may never know that answer,,lol

If he wanted to be the good guy, he'd be a Shane Mosley.
