You COMPLETELY overlook fundamental boxing common sense in picking Hatton.
Anf after Hatton gets cartoonishly KTFO'd, and his corner throws in the towel, you are surprised that certain folks start gloating? That's naive.

    You reap what you sow.

Dude, I knew Mayweather would most likely win but I went for my boy Hatton because I wanted him to win, I never said anything different.

Floyd needs to call it quits, he cant fight to that level for much longer, and there will always be someone else the media build up to beat him.

Years ago people were saying floyd jumped 140 to aviod hatton, when hatton ducked him.

Floyd started at 130, hatton at 140.

Floyd blows up to about 150 out of the ring, Hatton blows up to light heavyweight.

Yet despite hatton not having to drain himself, which should have given him an advantage, you guys are saying he is not a natural 147 pounder.

The only difference is, the guys at 140 are more vunerable to his power because he drops from 175 down to 140.

If hatton was a great, he would have been able to make a legitmate indent on another weight class, the same way mayweather made a legitmate impact in 5 Weight classes.

No excuses, mayweather gave up a stone to de la hoya and won.

He gave us the fight we all wanted with hatton, lots of people called for a hatton win by KO,

Mayweather knocked him the **** out.

Floyd deserves his props, he would beat hatton at any weight, imagine if they had of fought after the gatti fight, floyd still would have hurt him at 140 imo.

A 7 pound weight difference when you are in your prime doesnt = getting outclassed and knocked into the turnbuckle.

Maybe because every one and their ****ing dog saw it too! He should have been bitching about the ref though, not Mayweather.

Yes, I listened to an analyst who has long had a problem with Hatton's tactics complaining that Floyd was using Hatton's tactics.

And making a rough fight was what Hatton wanted, the only problem is that Hatton was being penalised for dirty tactics while Floyd's were ignored.

I've already said the better man won, but the worst of this is the revisionism that is already happening.

This is true. Sometimes it is easy to over analyze things that are in reality meaningless.

Hatton was a huge underdog. Floyd was supposed to win.
The big news is that Floyd has retired to be a "promoter".
So who will take over the #1 p4p spot?
