  • Hatton Didn't Lose

The ref was on the payroll and wouldn't let him fight inside. That's the bottom line. Hatton was manhandling Mayweather on the inside. I don't care what their crooked don king record books say, the fight was No Contest - and if things were really fair, the fight should be awarded to Hatton because he was in there fighting against two men, and the ref wasn't even putting on an act of being fair, at one point getting so anxious to earn his pay check that he deducted a point from Hatton for no apparent reason.

I've heard this one the most, so this is the official excuse for Hatton's loss for now.

The ref let them fight on the inside, but you dont need to clinch everytime to fight on the inside.

What a cry baby,Floyd won fair and square, and Hatton was manhandling him on the inside? Floyd was winning inside, even Hatton said he had trouble getting him and he was strong in the inside, take the loss like a man

I mean, the ref let mayweather get away with dirty elbow fighting all night, but the fact is that MAYWEATHER initiated most of the clinching in that fight, which was a pretty ingenious strategy.

Sorry mate, I am a Hatton fan but Mayweather deserved the win and was the better man.

The ref was too busy agreed and the point deduction was dubious considering both fighters where bending the rules but....the best man won.

Excuse after excuse after excuse .. Did Hatton make any excuses? No! Not that I can think of at least, he was only hurt over the fact that his pride took a shot when he went down. So if you boy Hatton ain't making any excuses, why should you?

                  I know what you mean...

But.. It was a brilliant move on Floyd's part.. He Initated the Holds..Not Hatton.. He kept using his elbow.. Floyd was the Dirty Fighter.. But somehow Cortez was Convinced it was Hatton.. And it worked... But then everything with Floyd is smoke and Mirrors..
I have awesome new respect for Floyd.. Not as a Boxer.. But as a confidence man.. He is GOOD... very very good..

Mayweather won fair and square. Good fight, good stoppage and a good win, no excuses. The ref was a bit of ***** but still, it was Mayweather who KO'd Hatton not the ref.
