Versatility. Floyd adapted to Hatton's style and employed his own style like jabbing for an entire round, fighting inside for an entire round, and using his defense to rest for periods. He showed his versatility in all facets of the game and came out victorious against a game, prime, elite fighter.

Mayweather has freakishly long arms which allows him to not be hit under any circumstance when he goes into the shell.

Excuses, excuses, what ifs, why can't you just admit Hatton got beat at his own game! If he would have ****** to the body or used his jab, do you seriously believe that would have changed anything? Whenever Hatton did get inside Floyd made it so rough in there that as soon as he got in there he wanted to get back out cuz Floyd was peppering him w/ crisp accurate shots. And he most definitley abandoned the jab because everytime he threw it he was getting countered with straight right hands or getting his head snapped back w/ hard and I really mean HARD jabs. I was pleasantly suprised that Floyd's jab was that good!

No need for the hostile tone tbh noones talking down mayweather in here were just having a discussion.

If you dont like it, dont read or dont post or don't do both.

did'nt go to the body at all, very poor from Ricky, but it might just be that Floyd was to damn good.

I just loved what Hatton said after the fight and I know the Brittish fans just cringed. " I know he's not the biggest ww but I sure could tell the difference." Haha classic! So I guess we will never get to see Cotto vs. Hatton since my boy Floyd banished him from the kingdom of the ww's again. I was really looking forward to that fight. But after last night I am convinced that Cotto would also beat the **** out of Ricky maybe even worst then Floyd did. Ricky needs to stay at 140 and maybe fight a Paulie Malanaggi or Junior Witter.lol
