And how did Hatton looked like when he was 160 for Colazzo? Sluggish as hell and slow.
He almost got beaten by Colazzo, imagine what Mayweather would do to him.

Hatton hasn't found his fighting weight for 147 lbs, and im afraid what guys like Judah, Cotto or De La Hoya would do to him, that are more stronger then Mayweather and bigger welterweights.

Ricky needs to bulk up, but not bulk up like Vargas did... He needs to bulk like Hopkins did, who is now really solid light heavyweight.

Because, when you have a brawler moving up in weight it's a lot harder for him to impose his game, than it is for boxer like Floyd.

Oh wait, I just discounted your theory (which I could do with about a thousand examples...but in the end, what does it matter?). I'm debating with a guy who doesn't even know who Bobby Czyz is.

I dont even know what Hatton came in by fight time. I dont even think the numbers were released or have been.

You, being the mumbling fool that you are, should continue to debate this. Speaks volumes about what you really know about the sport.

There a huge difference between moving up in weight, and changing weight within the same weight class. Obviously, if you move up in weight, any increase in chin you achieve via weight gain is negated by the increased punching power of your larger opponents.

We, however, are not talking about this.

You are claiming that your ability to take a punch from a 147lb fighter is no different when you weigh 145lb as opposed to 160lb.

Obviously this is an incorrect statement that can be amended as follows.

Your ability to take a punch from a 147lb fighter at 145lb is equal to your ability to take a punch from a 162lb fighter at 160lb.

Please brush up on your highschool physics before attempting to argue on matters regarding the subject.
