It makes perfect sense yet Floyd needs to play his mind games.

Financially it's better for Floyd to take time off and let the others fight it out. Hopefully one of them stay undefeated, gets marketed well so that in a couple of years, Floyd gets an even larger payday on his comeback.

Cotto isn't a big draw (yet) but if he can beat Williams, Margarito and learn some good English (he's getting better!), in 2 years he'll be worth a lot more to Floyd.

Going forward, Floyd fights will solely be business decisions. He honestly has nothing to gain by fighting Cotto at this stage.

Floyd's eyebrows are a litlte ****ed up. Other then that he's still lookin' pretty.

To this thread...Floyd should go after STRICTLY legacy fights.

Hatton is Quicker than Cotto so yeah i think cotto will lose by UD, Hatton was able to bully mayweather early on because he was quick but Cotto is too plonderous to me.

Paul Williams is the man to beat Mayweather, not Cotto.

If Williams/Mayweather got signed tomorrow, I would bet on Williams.

Paul's height, reach, stance and consistent workrate all spell trouble for Floyd.

I like cotto in his current weight much more. I think he could bully floyd alot more than hatton with his power. also Cotto has better movement. Not good movement but better defensively than Hatton.
