    So the post fight conference...

Any news on it? Floyd say he was definietly retiring in it or not? In the post fight interview with Larry he never said for sure he was. He just kinda dodged it and didn't know what he was gonna do.

Did he make up his mind or what?

No, he just said he was taking a "long vacation" and would come back when he felt it was necessary. But right now he said he was going to focus on "Mayweather promotions"

Floyd will HOPEFULLY take a vacation for the entire year and fight the biggest name (Most likely Cotto after beating Clottey and Marg) around this time next year.

In the interview with Merchant he said he would take a long vacation. Then as the crew were having their final words Jim Lampley said Mayweather said that he was taking 2008 and 2009 off.

It'd be way to ****** for him to take 09 off also.

He should take about 8-9 months off in 08 then train in the later months and fight Cotto in December or Novemeber.

Floyd should KO Cotto and then bow out for good.

There's no way in hell he will be able to stay retired if Cotto keeps winning. If he loses, Floyd will never have to think about fighting him.

Floyd would **** up Cotto badly. hatton and Cotto are two different fighters....Hatton is a beast and a monster and has throws punches at some serious angles, it's just too bad he ran into a Floyd Mayweather Jr.

                    Floyd doesn't need anyone, really.
