He tied up Floyd and tried to go to the body. Floyd did a better job of inside fighting tonight. Ricky didn't give up he was just tired as ****. He expended so much energy in the first 5 rounds.

Here's an idea, Welter, you get in the ring with Floyd Mayweather, and you throw your body punches. Let's see how well you keep it up after eating hard counters for 8 rounds.
You also Misunderstand me.. This Thread is no way to take away from Mayweather.. It's to criticise Hatton.. There is plenty of Mayweather praise
      threads already...
And Alot of People being a little unrealistic towards Hatton...

Another daft idea by Graham and team Hatton to move up to 147. I never understood this logic. I never understood why Graham kept on stating that Mayweather would be the only fighter they would move up 147 for. Mad.

well hatton never threw any of tho's real hard one's cos he was always expectin a counter from mayweather i think,

when he got close he would lean on mayweather throw little punches(same as floyd) then floyd would move or the ref stopped it he never stepped back and threw like were ust to, i think its more to do with floyd then hatton himself

          RICKY'S STILL THE MAN THO

Oh shut up. Hatton has fought bigger Junior Welters than Floyd Mayweather tonight.

I thought he put up as good of a fight, as I ever imagined he would.

He was able to pressure Mayweather and smother his punches, ultimately forcing him to fight his fight in close. Hatton won more rounds than De La Hoya did on my card.

Hatton did the best he could do... which is, as predicted by some (me), simply isn't that much compared to Mayweather. I don't really like either fighter and this just further proves how much better Mayweather is then.. ummm... everybody.

Hatton did impress me for ~3 rounds though. He was moving fast, and although I only gave him 1 of those 3 rounds at the start he definitely had me wondering if he'd pull it out. But 3 rounds isn't worth a damn if it goes 4.

Floyd is a class act. No doubt. I was one of those not completely convinced (rather foolishly-and also because of his arrgance), but I'm now fully convinced. A class act.

He's not a class act... but he's not a bad guy.

His speeches at the end were a lot of bull **** to try to get more $$$ in whatever he does next. He does a good job playing the role of a villain, but it's not always acting.

By class act, I meant in terms of boxing skills and sitting rightfully on top of the p4p list. He is a special fighter. A masterful skillful fighter.
