i have just re watched and counted every punch and there was just one jab to the body. i dont see how i am taking anything away from him he did the best job he could possibly do. and i was impressed with his offensive skills.

1 jab to the body? i remember him doing 3 jabs in a row to the body do u realise how much that can hurt? a jab to the body ? no u dont cause u only know what u see.
You dont know what the boxers feel in the ring because a jab is quick the boxer can react alot slower with tensing his body ive seen boxers get winded jus by a well placed jab.
I also dont know how u can re watch it when its finished? lol and i remember hooks to the body either way he got killed cold.

Im not sadistic but i think the referee stopped it too early. Sure Earl could have been hurt badly but it would have stopped him from making excuses after the fight. Plus i was looking forward to a few extra more rounds i was just getting comfy on my sofa.
Earl is a slow starter as well, and i was a bit worried that this was a step too fast and far for Khan. But khan did excellently.
