Why is the ring 4ft bigger?

OOO! I have the answer of why the ring is bigger!
It's because it's at 147, for Floyd's title(s), and all the money Floyd brings compared to Ricky, and the fact that Hatton was probably happy to give up **** like that in order to get this fight.Comment

Well, for 16 million dollars, I'd fight in a 22 mile ring, with 10 pound gloves, hell with a blindfold on, if need be.Comment

Yeah, in all honesty, the ring size probably doesn't matter... the corner and ropes are still the same size, so it is going to be incumbent on Ricky to cut off the ring.
Floyd already proved that he can move around in a really small ring.Comment

I doubt Floyd will do much running from Hatton anyway. It's not like Ricky has one punch KO power.Comment

It does excite me that a lot of Hatton fans think that a single body shot is going to end the fight.
I'm sure a 140 pounder is going to be able to cripple Floyd when a (big) 154 pounder who was fighting at 160 a few fights ago couldn't even buzz him.Comment

That was not my intention. "Whipped his ass" is a phrase I use all the time when talking about a win. Now if I say "mopped the floor with him" or "annihilated" something like that, I mean "domination." It was way to fierce and close of a fight to call it one sided at all.Comment

if your logic is true then maybe pacman should go back down in weight.Comment
