Presumably, the main eventers know for four months what the fight conditions are. It isn't like hatton just shows up and is surprised by the ring. If he doesn't know how to cut off a ring by 29 years old, he DESERVES to lose.

By contrast, the undercards often have much less time, and they are lower-tier fighters. you WANT to see 'wars' from those guys.
