everyone i know - fat, slim, gay, old, young, mentally ill, white, black, green, senile - loves a good boxing match over here!

There was nothing on TV over here, so I changed it to BBC Radio, and they were talking about the fight for like 20 minutes. Most people in America could care less.

It's not about them being so much "boxing fans" though. British fans support their athletes to 100% whether it's Tennis, boxing and of course Football (Soccer)...etc. Ricky Hatton is one of the best in the world and they're very proud that he's an englishman and they bring the same attitude to boxing that they would do if it was a fotball match. Most of those fans that support Hatton in Vegas are most likely not even fans boxing...they're fans of Ricky Hatton but not boxing in general.

as an englishman, the hype over here is crazy. but what is starting to annoy me is all these people jumping on the hatton bandwagon, but have not watched a fight since bruno-tyson. now all im hearing from these so called experts is ****.
