Name anybody close to the calibre of fighter that Cals have faced as good as Winky Wright.
He nuutralized speed bettre than anyone not named Mayweather or Cotto....see the two shane Mosley fights.
Against Taylor if you watch that fight on mute you can clearly tell that Taylor wasnt landing as much as Lamps said he was.
Winky Wright would be the best defensive fighter Cals has faced in his career..and one of the smartest.
Winky Wright has a sharp, long consistent jab that never stops..I think would slow Joe Cal down if every time he comes in he eats 3 or 4 jabs.
I dont think Joe Cal can land alot on Winky..I dont think he can hurt Winky..I mean who has...really..although Cal is a big guy hes far from a hard puncher....In this fight those slap-punch flurries wont mean much against that shell Wright stays covered in.
Joe Cal would need a whole lot more than just 'throwing punches to beat Wink.
Hopkins did it because he should be fighting at cruiser weight....and hes a master boxer....I dont think Joe Cal is on the same level as a b-hop as far as boxing ability...Does Cal have skills yes...but how we can gauge that..against Bika, Mafredo, Kessler and Lacy...wtf????.....stop it.
Winky has showed what he can do against Taylor, Tito, Mosley twice, Vargas, quartey etc.
I dont think Joe Cal hits hard enough to garner the respect from Wright that Taylor did.
I think Winky can this fight rather easily..hell he was smiling at Taylor after Taylor landed anything...Cal can not hurt this guy.
