If Shaw is angling for Dawson to fight Glen Johnson and the WBC has something to say about it, then he should have Tarver fight Diaconu (Dawson's mandatory), with the guarantee that the winner fights the winner.

Now why in the hell would Tarver fight Diaconu? Tarver is at the end of his career, there is absolutely no point in Tarver fighting Diaconu. Tarver will just simply avoid him unless he really wants to fight him, which would be a step up from Santiago. I don't know why Dawson is still chasing after Tarver and avoiding his mandatory, he will be wasting time and money doing that. He should just fight his mandatory and get it over with.
