The winner of this encounter could be the next opponent for Cotto, sovereign of the BMA, who makes less than a month defeated Shane Mosley. This is only one option that has Cotto, because among other potential rivals have been mentioned in Oscar de la Hoya, Antonio Margarito and Joshua Clottey.

After witnessing the fight Mayweather-Hatton, Cotto will travel on Sunday to the city of Miami, where next Wednesday 12 will be the ceremony of the awards Fox Sports, which Cotto is nominated for Best Latin American Boxer. At least if Hatton wins, he's already said he'll fight Cotto. If Floyd wins, he's already got his excuses going, "no coin in it" "I hate Bob Arum" etc etc.

floyd can only say he's done enough for his legacy and people will say he's ducking him so,they're gonna look bad either way.

I am hoping that the winner of this fight does go on to face Cotto. Can unify the Division somewhat.
