    I thought Donaire had exactly the performance he needed, even if taking Maldonado out took longer than he desired. But you're right, there's some truth somewhere in the middle. The question is whether we'll get the answers or instead this all will play out behind the scenes or in one-sided ammo dumps.
    I'm out of town right now on pleasure, not business, so I won't be back on the clock until I return to Florida next week. By that time, I'll have spoken with Nonito and Dunkin to get their perspectives on the subject.

    As far as Maldonado, what can you say but the guy was tough as hell. Donaire did a perfect job of finishing him off patiently. Donaire has the maturity and poise of a fighter with many more miles on his legs.
