Roy Jones is one of those fighters who transcend sports, but surely again, the prevailing perception isn't one being that he's big in the Hispanic community, or even as big as the most obscure (in the U.S.) but well known Mexican fighters.

Common sense. Learn what hyperbole is and when it is being used as it should help you out in the future. You drastically underestimate my intelligence if you believe that I literally meant every single entire Mexican who walks the planet earth, hates Floyd Mayweather.

I don't deny that some Mexicans enjoy the sweet science more than most, but I was generalizing under the assumption that what I meant was clear. The vast majority of people rooting for Mayweather against DLH and rooting for him now are/were black people, though this doesn't neglect all other peoples who also root for pbf.
