Alot of non-boxing fans really do hate mayweather

i live in a predominantly hispanic area of austin and also the Rio Grande Valley. I havent come across many PBF fans.

I'm Hispanic and I am from Texas as well and I don't like Floyd, so for people to say that it is only white people that don't like him isn't true. A lot of non boxing fans get really turned off by him based on his antics and that he never stops running is mouth and people don't like his attitude. That is the reason he will never be very popular with non boxing fans.

Something i have noticed is that many boxers arnt liked in there era. I mean boxers not fighters. Ali was hated for much of his carrere for his crap talk and for disrespecting his opp while beating them in the ring. many people turned to his fights hopeing he would get knocked out, but they paid money to watch him. 56 (KO 37) decent amount of KO, and very good opp.

I think floyd is in the same boat 38 (KO 24) decent amount of KO decent opp(getting better and better after slipping down a bit). many people hate him but will still watch him fight. he to runs his mouth. while ali for a long time was about seperation from the whites, floyd is about the green. Another diffrence is that ali didnt have to compete with NBA NFL MLB playes and golfers for attention. Boxing was one of the top sports.
Ali became as big as he was after he retired, know he is bigger than boxing.

Pernell whitaker is another fighter who was very skilled and his antics inside and out side of the ring made him hated, i truely belive he is getting more credit know that he doesnt fight then when his carrere was going. know his knockouts are almost none, but he faught very very good opp.

Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, this is very true. Not the whole reason but a lot of it. BTW I'm white and Mayweather cracks me up every time he talks ****. He's got skills with his mouth and I prefer that over a quiet Ricky Hatton or DLH. He makes his career entertaining, and is earning more money because of it. Why not?

In school there is this kid who is not really a boxing fan but watches it from time to time and he was saying he wishes mayweather gets knocked out and that he tried watching 24/7 but he just doesnt because all floyd does is talk bull**** in every segment and chance he gets.

wrong again my friend. well, not COMPLETELY. my gramps is a Ali fanatic. he always tells me stories about where he would watch his fights and what not. my uncle is a serious Sugar Rey Leonard fan and uses SRL's career as a comparison for greatness. I know when I was in the Rio Grande Valley, they would ALWAYS televise RJJ fights in bars and sometimes, even clubs.
