I'm with hurricane. Hagler-Leonard was one everyone knew, and boxing fans waited years for.

    Tyson-Holyfield I, Tyson Lewis

But THIS fight is up there, better hyped than Floyd-DLH, not in terms of money and quantity of coverage, but in terms of the meaningfulness of the issues, the national angle, and the fact that every real fan has waited over two years for this. This was ALREADY the most talked about fight in BS history before it was signed. When I started trolling two years ago, the topics were exactly the same. And it all leads to Saturday. This is wonderful.

Leonard-Hearns was hands down the best build up to a fight. there was people actually betting thier houses on that fight.

That is Sam McVey the Mike Tyson of his day. He was about the same size as Tyson and looked even more intimidating. 2 time black heavyweight champion and along with other black heavyweights of his time was overlooked purely because of his colour. It's a shame as he could of won the title and gone down as a great, but he is great in my eyes and many historians.

I went to the first Benn-Eubank fight and was absoluely gutted when Eubank stopped him but it was a great fight and the build-up was brilliant. I remember the interview with them both in the studio and Benn refused to look at him that was so funny him acting like a little kid.
